Hi, my name is Michelle and I have been teaching art for a number of years in a studio I built from scratch. Recently moved to the Jimboomba area, I am starting a new art space.

My belief is that, art should be a part of all of us. Creativity is such an important function of our grey matter and dramatically influences the way we think. Without it, we would have difficulty problem solving and thinking outside of the box. Without creative solutions to design in the world around us, I believe it wouldn’t be as interesting, fun, challenging and stimulating as it is today.

So having somewhere to go and exercise that right side of your noggin is just what the doctor ordered.

My Background

After topping Art subjects throughout my schooling, I decided to keep it going. I worked in childcare for a few years and while in the centres, I did huge wall murals to interest the little ones. From there on I was thrown into the life of motherhood, farming and living. All through these years I kept on painting and drawing, taking instruction from numerous artists along the way. This lead me to do some formal study, completing my Diploma of Visual Arts and recently my Diploma of Art Therapy.

Here are just some of my creations over the years:

What People Say

The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

Walt Disney

It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

J. K. Rowling

Creativity is intelligence having fun!

Let’s get creative together.
