Hi, my name is Michelle and I have been teaching, doing and enjoying art for a number of years in a studio I built from scratch. Recently relocated, I am starting a new art space.

Elemental Shell started many years ago as I started my journey through a world of art mediums and techniques.

Over the past 30 years, I have had art as a key part of my growth. I have taught in many mediums to many ages and abilities, practiced as an art therapist and completed many commissions. I now have to abilities to help anyone willing to try their hand at exploring the art world too.

Through the years my focus has often shifted and I love exploring different avenues of expression. Painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and lots more.

Recently I extended my skillset to bookbinding. Books have always been something I am drawn to and when I started making them, it gave more satisfaction than I would have guessed. As a new skill, I can incorporate much of what I have learned through other mediums to produce some amazing books.

Topics that have inspired my designs, have been fantasy based with a touch of historical influence. These would include wizards and witches, paganism, magic, mystical creatures and beasts, Faerie folk, spiritual healing and earth connections.
